Whenever I feel a little uninspired, I of course come to dA and check out my watched deviations. I fell a little behind and have been wading through nearly 400 deviations (>.< this evening, but I've also been thinking about what things I turn to whenever I need a little inspiration.

~ *childrensillustrator is a group with a monthly topic for artists to draw, a fun way to see lot of different styles in one place on dA

~ Drawn.ca [link] is a blog about all things illustration and graphic design, a great way to discover new artists

~ The Brainstormer [link] is a fun little application that can serve as a prompt for drawings or stories alike (I just turned the wheel and got sacrifice for love - road warrior - pirate, awesome)

~ Entropia: A collection of unusually rare stamps [link] is the story of a strange little planet called Entropia and the postal stamps it produces. I love this book, I brought it all the way to Japan!

~ Beirut (the band) [link] Don't ask me why but this band's traveling gypsy sound and bizarre lyrics just makes me feeling like drawing.

~ Flight comics [link] I can flip through one of these collections whenever I need inspiration. I wish there were more comic anthologies like this.

~ Shoebox Blog [link] This divisions of Hallmark cards has an at-times-random-but-often-funny blog, I particularly like the "Bots with Stuff" series.

So that's where I turn for inspiration. How about you?
